First of all you must visit the harmonious Arab-Norman style cathedral, so imposing and astonishing, with its fine mosaics and the modern stained glass windows.
Afterwards, wander through the fascinating narrow roads of this pleasant sea town, enjoy the kindness of its inhabitants and their quiet way of life, within a splendid gulf with wonderful sandy beaches and a overhanging rock rich in vegetation.
It was, with no doubt, this special environment that seduced, exactiy in the 1976, Dietmar Beckers, from Holland, and Thea de Haan, a Dutch-Indonesian, and made them stay at Cefalù. Here they opened this cosy and warm restaurant, a few steps from the cathedral.
